Hello
I am have been using this Laptop since the past 3 years.
It is a HP Laptop 15-bs1xx
Intel Core i3-8130u @2.20 Ghz (3.4 Ghz with Turbo)
Intel Integrated Graphics 620 UHD
8 GB SIngle Channel DDR4 RAM

I am always running short on RAM even though I kill all useless tasks from Task Manager and even uninstalled some softwares I don't use.
What I am asking is that, it the RAM Upgradable in this Laptop of mine??? I would really like to upgrade it to 16 GB DDR4 RAM (8*2 GB Dual Channel because Task Manager says I have 1 out of 2 ram slots available)

Please Help. Thank you in advance

Hi:

 

Yes, you can install another 8 GB memory chip in the empty slot and have 16 GB running in dual channel mode.

Thank you very much, just one thing. Should I go for Crucial RAM options because HP website directs me to Crucial for anything.

Crucial memory will be fine.
