Example: Pavilion 14 ce0043tx
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have a hp pavilion 14 ce0043tx and i was wondering if I can safely upgrade its ram from 4GB to, for example, a 16GB ram. It says my laptop can go up to 16GB ram. but unfortunately I only have 1 RAM slot. can anyone check for real if I indeed have only 1 ram slot? I have been searching online and it also says I have 1 ram slot and the task manager also inputted 1 of 1 in bank slots for ram. One other thing is that my friend said that usually one-slotted RAM is being soldered to the motherboard and thus making it extremely hard or impossible to upgrade. I just want to know if I can upgrade my RAM. Thank you!!

It's not soldered but there is one slot as you have already figured out. It can run a single 16 gig module of DDR4-2400 SO-DIMM. It can also take DDR4-2666.

Manual

Pages 51-52 and then page 71-72.

16-MB (mistake should be GB in manual), DDR4-2400, 1.2-V 865396-855

So it is just a simple process? Take out the RAM then switch it to another RAM of my choice? without damaging my motherboard or any hardware? Thanks by the way for the response.

Yes please without damage.
