HP Spectre x360 15-df0032nb
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hey,

I have recently bought the HP Spectre x360 15-df0032nb for my school usage.

I had been advised by my computer store that 8GB ram should be enough. As I realize now - it is not.

I have been looking everywhere to upgrade the ram, but I read its solderd (onboard) and not possible. Yet HP Support told me after giving my serial id that it is:

Support for up to 16-GB of system memory in the following conƭgurations
16384-MB (8-GB ×2 pieces)
8192-MB (8-GB × 1 piece)

Now I've checked and seen that it has in use:

Memory Slot 1: 4GB Micron 2800MHz

Memory Slot 2: 4GB Micron 2800MHz

As I understand this, it has no free slot which means I cannot add more ram... And as it is a onboard/solderd ram I cannot remove it either.

Is there any way to get this laptop to 16GB ram or what options I have? The device is not even 1 month old and I really feel like I wasted 1700 euros for a laptop which is not strong enough for my needs.

In case any HP Employee needs the Serial Number: Edit: Removed because requested

Best regards

Mika
