HP Pavilion 15-cc5xx
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi,

I would like to use 2 external monitors with my Pavillion 15-cc5xx, but my USB-C is the data only version apparently.. Can I use an USB port to power these monitors?

I ordered the USB-C Dock G4 before I knew my laptop's USB-C was data only, so could I buy an USB-C to USB adapter and power it that way?

I would use a HDMI and a HDMI coupled with a HDMI-DP adapter.

Thanks!

I believe you have another post elsewhere. USB 3.0 port won't power monitor it has very low voltage and not AC. But you can use it to connect to a dock.  Please enter your requirement on the following link and it will find for you few options on market today including some HP products:

I currently have the HP dock G4, if I buy an USB C to USB adapter, would I be able to use the dock with the monitors?
