HP Laptop PC 14s-dq2000 (26G78AV)
Microsoft Windows 11

Hello,

I bought a full docking set to use for my at home setup, however I am not sure if my laptop is even compatible with USB C power delivery, anyone have an idea if my HP 14s-dq2502sa (26G78AV) is even capable of charging over USB C?

TLDR: Want to use an all in one setup, USB C cable charges laptop and displays HDMI signal to the the monitor and also powers my Microsoft branded wireless keyboard.

Thanks. 🙂

"USB C cable charges laptop and displays"
A USB type-C charger is not likely to work with your laptop and your USB Type-C port is not a video signal out type.

I don't quite understand why you purchased a dock.

There is an HDMI port for the display and a USB SuperSpeed Type -A port for an external keyboard already on the laptop.

The reason was for convivence, so one cable to plug in and when taking the laptop out just unplug one cable.

I'll have to return my Amazon package.. 😞
