HP 15 DA0434TX
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My laptop model is  Hp 15 da0434tx , in an app it shows that my laptop has Samsung  m471a5244cb0-ctd ram which is 2666 mhz and my motherboard supports 2133 mhz .....so I want to ask can I buy ram of different frequency instead of 2133 mhz?

Not at all.

The faster memory takes on the characteristics of the slower speed memory.

I just had to do that on a HP Thin Client t630 desktop PC.

It uses DDR4-1866 memory and I could only find DDR4-2400 memory.

The DDR4-2400 memory works just fine in my PC at 1866 MHz.

Hi:

Yes, you can do that, and the memory will automatically bridge to 2133 MHz like it is doing now.

DDR4-2666 MHz memory is probably what HP had on hand at the time your PC was assembled at the factory.

Will i face any problem after that?
