HP ENVY Desktop - TE01-0014
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Can an older 2.5" form factor SSD from my old computer be mounted in my new HP ENVY Desktop - TE01-0014?

It looks like there is a spare hard drive connector, but I'm not sure where to mount it?

Anybody done this?

>>> It looks like there is a spare hard drive connector,

Your machine only has  512 GB PCIe® NVMe™ M.2 SSD now. Yes, you can use 2.5" on your machine . Normally desktop machines use 3.5" HDD's therefore you need a mounting bracket

You may also need a longer SATA cable to connect it to the motherboard.

Regards.
