Hello - I had purchased Hp pavilion 15-bc021tx 2 years back. It has 1 TB 7200 rpm HDD. Now I want to add one SSD additioanlly. I have read in forum that this notebook has one m.2 slot. However could not find the right manunal in below link:
Also, I have read in forum that this notebook supports both SATA SSD and PCIe SSD in m.2 slot, is that correct? If not which one is true? And maximum SSD capacity is can support (e.g. 512 gb)? I am asking this because someing is selling Intel SSD Model No SSDSCKKF512G8 (looks like a m.2 sata SSD)
Do I need to change anything in BIOS so that this notebook can recognize the SSD in m.2 slot and I want install fresh windows 10 in it.

It does have M.2 slot which supports M.2 SATA 3 SSD's. I've got very bad experiences with Intel SSD's therefore my recommendation:

These upgrades are guaranteed compatible when you order from Crucial.com

Hi Banhien - Thank you very much for your quick reply. So this notebook only supports sata SSD in m.2 slot but not PCIe/NVME ssd. I will definitely try to buy crucial one. Just wondering what is your bad experience on Intel ssd, as I have one 2.5 inch sata 2 Intel SSD (320 series) in my desktop and using it for last couple of years without any issue.
Additioanlly, do I need to change anything in BIOS so that this notebook can recognize the SSD in m.2 slot? And I could not find the right manunal in Hp website, can you please help me to the manual for it?
Thanks
