My confusion. HP makes "Omen" laptops, too and you posted this in the "Notebook" section. Yes the only thing that might hold you back is the power supply but 500w is likely enough

No the graphics is soldered to the motherboard.

So theres no way to upgrade my gpu?

That's what I am saying. There may be a motherboard from that model series with the 1070 video instead of 1060 but the cost of replacing a motherboard just for that improvement would make no sense. There is no video "card" in the laptop as in a desktop. That is true of 99% of laptops.

But it isnt a laptop? its a easily upgradable pc i bought, i wouldve have thought the gpu wouldnt have been soldered if it was to be easily upgraded

My biggest apologies for wasting your time im sorry, i didnt notice the notebook but thank you for answering my questions i was so confused when you talked about laptops
