Can i upgrade my device from hard drive to solid state drive?

What is your HP 17.3 inch Laptop PC 17-c0000 (2W0J3AV)  ? It could be one of the following machines

For example:    HP Laptop 17-cn0998nz

 

Sounds like your machine only has 2.5" HDD. You can add M.2 NVMe SSD drive to your machine using standard drives on market today for example
