Now you are getting it. That is generally true of consumer laptops because the only component that determines frame rates to any great extent is the video chip and in 99.9% of laptops the video chip is soldered to the motherboard. In your case it was a very inexpensive laptop designed for Aunt Martha to post on Pinterest. Anyone who sold that to you as capable of any kind of gaming other than Candy Crush deserves to be keel-hauled.

that is incorrect buckaroo, i am able to play Garrys Mod on default setting on 50+ fps with occasional stutter almost everyday. i can play rocket league on low settings on around 40 fps constant.
with no upgrading on this exact laptop.
