HP 14-cf2000 Laptop PC (8TC58AV)

Hi.

Problem: no power, no light.

What I done:

Removed battery, then connect power cord - white led ON.

Press ON button LED go OFF.

Reinstalling battery, put power cord - LED orange, after while change to withe.

Press ON button, LED go OFF no power.

I repeat this with power cord connected after (charging) and without power cord. Same effect.

It this means battery is dead or is something else?

Thansk.

I finally resolve my problem.

It was not battery!

I bout another battery, but problem still exist in same way.

So I try looking around switch ON/OFF.

I noticed that there is a lot of dirt on the connection tape on USB board.
Probably tea or coffee (!).
I cleaned the ribbon and socket very carefully, using alcohol.
I couldn't remove everything because the dirt is very dry and clingy.
But it was enough!
The laptop works again as before.
If someone has a similar one, start looking for dirt and traces of leaks.
