Hi KennAyala,

If you can play CD/DVD's it is not the player. Here is a link that might help.

What type of CD are you using to try to burn and what is the content of the documents you are trying to burn?

Let me know.

Thanks.

Hi KennAyala,

Welcome to the HP Forums! I read your post on your HP Pavilion 14-n207la Notebook and not able to burn a CD/DVD. Are you using Cyberlink to burn the CD/DVD's?

Let me know.

You can say thanks easily by clicking the Thumbs Up below!

I used Windows Media Player, Nero, Cyberlink and CDBurnerXP. Nothing of those worked.

I figure it out that the problem was my cd burner doesn't work with Verbatim CDs. When I tried to burn a Sony CD it worked perfectly, then I tried again Verbatim and it didn't work.

Thanks for the help. 😄
