After I updated the latest Windows 10, I find a few issues with some hardware and software.
1) I can't change the brightness setting.
2) The microphone isn't working so I have to use a headphone to call other people
3) Some of the shortcut keys aren't working:
- example like changing brightness using fn+f4 or f5 isn't working and switch for the microphone isn't working .
4) Bang Olufsen equalizer software (this software is given when I bought it) disappear from the laptop.
For now, these are the problems I found. I am pretty sure there are others but I don't see them yet.
Can you fix the problems? Should I downgrade the windows to the older version for now?

That is probably a different driver.
Here is the whole driver page. Several drivers for this have been issued in the last 30-60 days. If I were you I would start with the BIOS: upgrade to the newest BIOS and then start installing these drivers, particularly the ones with 2018 issue dates.

Let's start at the beginning. The Studio G4 has a couple different graphics options; either Intel integrated or nVidia discrete, which do you have?
Also please go into device manager (just type that in the search box at the lower left of the desktop) and see if there are any devices with weird symbols showing uninstalled driver. Open up display adapter and let us know what it says please.
Once we handle the video we will move on to audio issues.

HP just issued a brand new Intel video driver.
Install this and see what happens. I believe this driver was written for the newest Windows 10 Build.

It's still downloading. In the meantime, does my model support fingerprint reader? i really want to use it and I download the driver for it (not really sure if it's a correct version ) but i still can't use it.

If it has a physical fingerprint adapter yes of course it is supported.
Here also is a fairly new HP driver for the fingerprint reader.
Set it up through Windows 10 Hello feature.
