Hello, when I tried to upgrade to Windows 11, the precheck told me i couldn't because "The processer isn't currently supported
for Windows 11." I have an AMD Ryzen 3 2300U with Radeon Vega Mobile Gfx. Am I out of luck?
Thanks for any info/help,
Tom

Hi:
Your notebook's processor needs to be a 3rd generation Ryzen processor and yours is only a 2nd generation.
I upgraded 11 unsupported HP and Dell notebook and desktop PC's to W11.
They all work great. They get all of the W11 updates, because I check them against a notebook I have that is fully supported for W11.
If you want to try out W11 on your notebook, you will have to use one of the several W11 hardware check bypass methods to install W11.
I found this method to be the easiest way to do that...
Windows 11 Upgrade Hack on Any Hardware | Dong Knows Tech
Before you install W11, I would make a system image of your current W10 installation prior to updating to W11, so you can easily reinstall W10 in the future. I used the free Macrium Reflect software to do that, under the Backup at Home section.
Along with the system image, make sure you create the bootable DVD or USB rescue drive you boot from to access the system image stored on your portable hard drive.

Hi, @tomkate1968 I highly suggest that you do not upgrade to Windows 11 just yet at least until the developer has sorted things out with the Operating System.
I observed that a lot of users here have complained about driver issues, hardware problems, and even software challenges.
So until they have properly give full support to Windows 11's use, then it is best to leave your PC as Windows 10.
