HP ENVY - 13-aq1076nr
Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

My friend has the HP Envy - 13aq1076nr laptop. Id like to buy them a 65W portable charger for it, but i am aware that the laptop has a barrel type charging port. My question is, can you use the onboard usb type-C port to charge the device? and if so would a 65W charger be enough to charge it? id just plug a normal usb-c laptop charger into it to test it out, but, 1-they live across the country from me and 2-id be worried of frying the port or the laptop itself.

-Thanks for the help

The USB-C port is Power Delivery 3.0 compliant which means it can be used to charge the laptop. USB-C adapter can be no more than 100 w. The factory supplied power supply is 65 w so a USB-C 65 w adapter should work fine.
