Hello There,
I want to know if I can remove the SATA HDD from this laptop and use it as a external HDD. If Yes is there a proper steps to convert this to a External HDD so I can read whatever is there in HDD. I know I would need to get an external connector but any insight on the recommended ones would be great.

Hi:
That would depend on whether or not you want to just use the drive once to get the data off of it, or to use it as a portable hard drive.
You can buy a SATA to USB cable and leave the drive exposed...something like this:
Or you can use an enclosure to protect the drive...something like this:
