Looks like only one battery was offered in the model series and that can be found in chapter 3, page 22 of the service manual and should match the part number in the HP PartSurfer website link I posted.

Thank you for the information. However, I discovered on the HP website that HP does not sell replacement batteries. None of the resellers carry them either. It does not leave me a choice but to buy it in a place like Amazon, which I am very reluctant to do.

If HP doesn't sell the battery, I don't see that you have any other choice but to buy an aftermarket battery on Amazon, eBay or laptopbatteryexpress.com
