I have invested in a laptop by HP and it’s my first time using a HP laptop, but I want to upgrade the ram on my machine, because it’s only 4 GB. Can I upgrade it?
Model: 13-p106sa

Your machine currently has 4GB of RAM on only 1 slot. You acn upgrade to 8GB using same slot that means you have to replace 4GB with 8GB. The following manual shows you more information
Yu can use RAM from the following link (or Crucial link in the UK)
http://www.crucial.com/usa/en/compatible-upgrade-for/HP---Compaq/pavilion-13-p106sa-x2

Good morning,
I need to know what is the model/product of the split x2 machine because some of them have RAM onboard that means non-upgradable.
Regards.
