Product: HP EliteBook 840 G5 Base Model Notebook PC
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11
Hello community.
I purchased a HP Thunderbolt Dock G2 Combo cable, and tried to connect it to my HP EliteBook 840 G5 Base Model Notebook PC.
I however am not successful. It is not behaving like I plugged anything. I have a simple Thunderbolt to HDMI that works perfectly fine. I am failing to understand why. My PC is 16gb ram and OS Windows 11 23h2
I have gone to the bios and have also removed the security, yet I am not getting any traction.
The laptop simply behaves like it does not know that anything is connected. even the charging is not working.
