HP Support Assistant states that a battery calibration is needed.. I have attempted the battery calibration through Support Assistant, BIOS power testing, and manually using the BIOS memory test method until shut down and recharge to 100%. All repeated attempts have been unsuccessful in completing the battery calibration, all completing with a result that battery calibration is needed. There are no issue with battery usage or charging, it is just annoying that this warning icon remains in Support Assistant. Is this a possible battery hardware issue and addressable with a warranty replacement battery?

Ignore it. Your battery is fine.

The battery doesn't need to be calibrated - it is practically brand new.
This is most likely an error in the HP Support Assistant.
You can fight with it, including completing an uninstall and reinstall of the HPSA application.
Yanking and reinstalling the HPSA app might fix it though I would guess not.
Best of all, ignore it.
At some point, it will likely get fixed - not today and probably not next week...
Not good enough?
Remove the little HPSA icon from the Taskbar. This does not "cure" the error but it does remove the error from your sight.
Cavalier attitude?
Possibly. Our Community does not have any control over the HPSA - none. It usually works and is nice software (or an application depending on which "flavor" your system installs). Beyond adjusting the settings and reinstalling it, "we" cannot fix, edit, or force the HPSA to do anything. At some point, the oddities, bugs, weirdness, or other bits usually get fixed.

Thank you Dragon-Fur for the response. It appears that a "Fix" is unavailable and hopefully HP will mitigate this issue with upcoming Support Assistant or firmware updates since this device is relatively new. 🤔
Looking into some other threads, it appears I am not the only person experiencing this "issue".
I am just a little weary as to battery failures as currently, the HP software and BIOS battery testing is stating that the battery cannot be calibrated on a relatively new device.
