You don't have anything you can install for now, like the original one that came with your PC?

I use this one in many of my HP notebooks and desktop PC's and I just put one in a Dell desktop PC in July.

Maybe you can get the same model in Poland.

My original HDD is Seagate 500 GB, but it has a sticker on it saying "replace with HP spare" and a guy from HP assistance told me to do so.

Anyway, I'm gonna order that disk You've reccomended, I'll let You know in a few days how it goes.

Any decent 2.5" drive will work.

It doesn't have to be from HP.

I have tried a Seagate SSD and it appeared to be uncompatible too.

I tried even deleting all partitions from new SSD and install win 8 using bootable USB drive, but it failed too.

I'm abandoning this upgrade, nonetheless thank You for your time and involvement, You make the world a better place.

You're very welcome.

I'm sorry that you were unable to get a SSD to work in your notebook.
