What are you using for installing the 64 bit Windows 10? You can use a DVD or a thumb drive but you have to do a "clean install". You boot the system from the install medium and choose to format the internal hard drive of the laptop during installation and install a new clean version of Windows 10, 64 bit. All traces of 32 bit will be gone.

Are you trying to run the 64 bit Windows 10 as an upgrade from within 32 bit Windows 10? Will not work. You have to do a complete wipe of the hard drive and reinstall. You have to boot the system from the 64 bit disk and format the drive.
Your computer is fully capable of running a 64 bit OS.

Hi:
Transfer the ISO file to a 4 GB flash drive using this tool.
https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/windows-usb-dvd-download-tool
Then plug your W10 installation flash drive in the notebook's usb port.
Restart the PC and tap the ESC key to get the menu of options.
Select the F9 boot options menu, and then select the USB flash drive from the list and hit the enter key.
