Product: HP Notebook 15-dy1036nr

I replaced the battery and the DC in cable on my hp computer , now when I try to turn it on it won,t boot up. The charging port is solid white light, when I push power button the hard drive light comes on for about a second or two then goes out.  Any suggestions
