@Rida79, Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding Unresponsive HP Laptop with Charging and Caps Lock Lights Issues!
We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.
When experiencing issues with an HP laptop where the charging light is blinking yellow and white, and the caps lock light is on and occasionally blinking, yet the laptop remains unresponsive, follow these steps to troubleshoot and potentially resolve the issue:
Step 1: Power Reset
- Disconnect all peripherals: Detach any attached devices like USBs, external monitors, etc.
- Power off the laptop completely: If necessary, hold down the power button for at least 5 seconds.
- Remove the battery (if it is removable) and unplug the power adapter.
- Press the power button for 15 seconds: This can discharge remaining power and reset the system.
- Reconnect the battery and power adapter: Power on the laptop.
Step 2: LED Indicator Meanings
Charging Light:
- Blinking Amber: Indicates a low battery level. Charge the battery until the LED turns white or off.
- Blinking White: If accompanied by unusual behavior, it may indicate battery or charging issues.
Caps Lock Light:
- Blinking: This can indicate a hardware issue or a need for BIOS reset.
Step 3: BIOS Reset
- Perform a hard reset: As mentioned above with battery removal.
- Update or reset BIOS: If accessible, update BIOS through HS Support Assistant or reset to default settings.
Hope this helps!
Take care, and have an amazing day!
