Elite book 8570W
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)
Hi. My elitebook 8570W has the charging light blinking white 10 x per cycle when plugged in and refuses to boot. I’m using the original supplied charger. The laptop was operating fine this morning and I left it running. It now will not charge or boot. Is it likely a faulty charger ?? Thanks

Do a power reset : https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c01684768

If you remove battery and connect AC adapter power alone, what happens when you press power button?

Seems like faulty charger if it is not working.

In bad case scenario, power connector on the board may be the problem( cheaper). And in worst case scenario motherboard may have give kaput (costlier). You've to get it checked by certified technician either way.

Page 90, 91: There is a replacement power button board part listed, so you can buy the part number for repair if needed.
