Charging light is on but not turning on

When I plugged in my AC adapter (attached with battery), it's charging (in orange colour) but it couldn't start up when I pressed the power button. It seems like doesn't have any response after the power button is pressed.

Any solution?

Hi,

Have you tried it without the battery plugged in? There have been cases when the battery couldn't hold the charge and the ACPI/BIOS wouldn't let the computer to boot up.

Hi, thank you for your reply. I tried to unplug my battery and attach with the AC adapter. It turned white light and still no any responses after I pressed power button. Any idea or solution for me to proceed?

Well, the next step would be to make sure that the AC adapter actually works. If you could get a hand on a different AC adapter or try the AC adapter on a different laptop that could eliminate the AC adapter as the issue. After that the power button and in the last case the motherboard.

Hi, it was my power button related problem. I try to relocate the power button flat cable ribbon then it could start again! Thanks a lot!
