Chrome book camera stopped working couple of days back. tried multiple restarts, powerwash, reset to factory settings but no avail.
when I try to open camera app it just shows a black screen.
On zoom it doesnt join the meeting just give a connecting icon.

@teelu If your camera isn't working, though you've gone through the below steps, it could be a hardware malfunction:
- Turn off your Chromebook, then turn it back on.
- Try using the camera in another app, like Hangouts. If it works in that app, uninstall the app where it doesn't work, then reinstall it.
- Reset your Chromebook.
- Recover your Chromebook.
If you're still having trouble after trying these steps
I suggest you talk to HP support and discuss your options, follow the below steps to get started:
1) Click on this link - http://www.hp.com/contacthp/
2) Click on Sign-in or select the product using the below step:
3) Enter the serial of your device.
4) Select the country from the drop-down.
5) Click on "Show Options".
Fill the web-form, to populate a case number and phone number for yourself!
