After pressing down on the clickpad, occasionally the mouse will become unresponsive. I am very happy with this laptop, but with this happening several times a day, it makes the computer unusable.
I have run the Mouse/Clickpad hardware tests from the pcdiagnostics tool (after hitting F2 when booting up). The PC fails for the Pointer Test and Drag And Drop Test with the following information:
FAILURE ID: GLKTN2-8SK948-MFPUQK-G48N03
PRODUCT ID: 1WU64AV

The hardware failure code can be used by HP to indicate the type of problem.
If the computer is still in warranty, contact HP in your region for service.

You are welcome.
Over the years, I have had occasion to use HP repair services. In general, the experience has been very good. Once in a while there has been a delay while "waiting for parts".
When / if you need / want status on the repair, use the contact information you were given when you opened the case with HP. Tired of waiting? Feeling "left out"? Call for a status.
