You're very welcome.

You need to purchase a DDR3-1333 MHz 2Rx8 memory chip.

That is one with 8 little black memory chips on each side of the circuit board.

Do not buy DDR3L-1600 memory or it will not work.

This should be a compatible 4 GB memory chip for your notebook:

Below is the link to the service manual for your notebook.

c02770249.pdf

Chapter 1 has the list of supported processors and memory upgrade information.

Chapter 3 has the list of parts.

Your notebook has an Intel HM 55 Express Chipset which means you can only install a supported Intel 1st generation core processor.

Looks like the best you can do according to the manual is the Intel Core i5-480M processor.

Thanks, can you tell me where I can to buy te maximum memory that I suppose is onlye one additional 4GB memory module like the one that comes to expand to 8GB with the 2 memory banks?

The pdf only tell 2 customer-accessible/upgradable SODIMM slots:

● DDR3-1333 MHz Dual Channel

● DDR3-1066 MHz Dual Channel Support (DDR3-1333 downgraded to DDR3-1066)

Supports up to 8 GB of system memory in the following configurations

● 6144 MB (4096 MB × 1 +2048×1)

● 4096 MB (4096 MB × 1)
● 4096 MB (2048 MB × 2)
● 3072 MB (1024 MB × 1 + 2048 MB × 1)

● 2048 MB (2048 MB × 1)

● 2048 MB (1024 MB × 2)

Are you sure the max proccesor is only Intel Core i5-480M?

In this page for Intel HM 55 Express Chipset I can see a lot of higher proccessors, as Ii7-640M , i7-840QM, i7-660LM ,  i7-940XM and others

https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/products/sku/43183/mobile-intel-hm55-express-chipset/compati...

How can I know wich proccesors are avlid and wich not? In the page say is for intel-hm55-express chipset, does not specify the generation.

Thanks in advance.

I can only go by what the service manual indicates.

Theoretically, the i7-640M should work but I'm skeptical about the other processors you listed being able to work.

The i7-840QM is a 45W processor and the dual cores are 35W processors.

The issue may be wattage, not voltage.

Your PCs motherboard supports the Intel 1st Gen dual core 35 Watt processors

The quad core processors are 45 Watt processors.
