Hello. I am trying to upgrade the ram on this laptop from 8gb to 16gb. I saw that it supports 'DDR4 2400 MHz system memory'. When I contacted Crucial they told me that they don't have a compatible upgrade for it. I want to know where I could find somewhere that sells compatible ram for this laptop. Also, how do I find out how many spare slots of ram I have left. I don't want to buy 8gb of ram and find out that I already have 2x4gb meaning I'll have to buy another 8gb. Thanks.

Hi,

 

At the moment you have one stick of 8GB of DDR4-2400 SDRAM in your system, you can see here on spec. sheet:

You can install max of 16GB of DDR4-SDRAM (2x8GB)

 

If you perform online search you should be able to find quite easily.

 

Example:

You can see various configurations and install procedure on page 1 and 38 of service manual
