Am I able to upgrade this system to an 64gb ram DDR5?

In fact, all the OMEN DDR5 Alder Lake refreshes have been reported (here on the HP forums and on Reddit) as successfully upgraded to 64gb RAM (either with Crucial's kit or even with gaming RAM kits) and running fine with the new 32GB DDR5 modules. There is only a small side effect of the BIOS showing Ø RAM and the boot times being a little longer, and this is known by HP as a BIOS bug that has yet to be fixed with an update.

I was given this link and told it can only support up to 32gb of ram. Can I get some clarification?

32 gigs is as much as HP offers on it from the factory but it will take 64 gigs.
Crucial offers up to 64 gig memory kits for it:
