Hi:

Your notebook has a BIOS whitelist which prevents you from installing any other model Wi-Fi card other than the one that originally came with your notebook.

If you want a faster Wi-Fi connection, you will have to purchase a dual band USB Wi-Fi adapter.

Can you recommend a quality Wi-Fi adapter model since my laptop uses USB 2.0?

Can you use Amazon in Columbia?

If so, I recommend this one which is dual band and pretty small.

Amazon.com: 1300Mbps USB 3.0 Wireless WiFi Adapter for PC, USB Wi-Fi Dongle AC Mini Network Adapters...
