Windows 10 Home 64. AMD Athlon Gold 3150U. 4 GB DDR4-2400 SDRAM (1 X 4 GB) Can I add memory and ram? If so, what do I need for this laptop?

Below is the link to the Crucial memory report for your notebook.

According to the above report, it can support up to 2 x 16 GB of memory.

HP only has the service manual for the older 17-ca1xxx model series.

According to chapter 1 of the manual, the notebook can support up to 2 x 8 GB of memory.

If you want to try out a 16 GB memory chip, then I recommend this one from the above Crucial report:

Hey, thank you for your response. I went on the website and both 8 GB and 16 GB out of stock but gave these on Amazon. I RAM something different?

The memory chips on Amazon will work fine since they have the same part numbers.
