Welcome to the forum @Jenjen3
The best notice from an upgrade would be replacing the " 500 GB 5400 rpm SATA " with an SSD.
Your manual here:

Because of your " Intel® Pentium® N3710 " processor you are limited to one memory slot and 8GB max.
For now you could try running your " Performance Tune Up Check "

Hi,
The computer has a low power processor and will never be real fast. However I agree with @REO51ST that replacing the hard drive with a 2.5" SSD such as the Samsung 860evo would give a boost to the PC. You could even get a 250GB which would be cheaper
Example:
On page 53 of service manual you can see the steps to replace the drive:
http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c05493257
Naturally you will need to reinstall the OS on the SSD either by using HP recovery disks, migrating an image or downloading the media creation tool from Microsoft, running and creating a bootable drive with the OS on it (there is explanation on Microsoft page). You can then use this drive to clean install Windows 10 on the PC. You do not need product key.

You can find your drivers and software on support page for your product:
