Hello,
I recently faced confusion as I was planning to upgrade my Ram and SSD on my HP Laptop. The model and product number are given below:
Product Name: HP ENVY x360 - 15m-ds0011dx
Product Number: 5TV95UA#ABA
To continue with, I wanted to put in two 16GB 2400Mhz Sticks in this laptop and am unsure whether the laptop will support 32GB of Ram. And next, I wanted to put in another M.2 SSD of 480GB in this laptop but again I am Unsure whether this laptop has two M.2 Slots. I could not get the information anywhere about whether the laptop has two M.2 Slots and I can't open up the laptop to check and get sure at the moment. Could anyone help me with the problem I am facing with both the ram and M.2 Slots? A help would be really appreciated!

Hi:
Below is the link to the service manual for your notebook.
Chapter 1 has the memory and drive upgrade info.
Your notebook supports 2 x 8 GB of memory, and there is only one M.2 slot for a SSD.
You can also do this to see if it is possible that your notebook can support 2 x 16 GB of memory...
1. In the Windows search box, search for cmd and click Run as administrator. This will open the command prompt.
2. Once the command prompt is open, type wmic memphysical get maxcapacity and hit enter. There, it will show the maximum RAM capacity your PC's motherboard can support.
The capacity is shown as Kilobytes, so you have to convert it as follows...
Gigabytes = Kilobytes ÷ 1,048,576
