Hello,
I have an old dv6 2170ep with an i5-520m and a nvidea gt320m.
The cpu is on a Socket G1 and I know which cpus are compatible with this socket.
What I would like to know is which cpus are compatible with this laptop model.
I understand that this upgrade wouldn't add much processing power to my laptop, but I'm hoping it will be enough to keep using it for my light work loads.
Thank you in advance
Daniel

@DanielNunes_420 , welcome to the forum.
Here is the Maintenance and Service Guide for the laptop. On Page 4-42, Removal and replacement procedures, at the top of the page is a list of compatible processors. These have been fully tested to assure that they are compatible with the motherboard.
Please click the Thumbs up + button if I have helped you and click Accept as Solution if your problem is solved.
