Cracked case around hinges! Not under warranty right now but clearly a design flaw. I have been handling my laptop carefully and despite careful use got cracks around hinges.
Got a chance to read a few posts on same topic on different forums, replies were unacceptable.

For anyone with the same problem, if you have purchased the product in the US/Canada and are out of warranty - the estimated cost to get it repaired through HP would be $300-$400 - absolutely unreasonable given that this is a design flaw and they get a lot of complaints for specific devices including Pavilion 360. As for my case - I got the product from France so they want me to contact the manufacturer in France and ship it there for repairs! LMAO
GET IN TOUCH WITH ME IF YOU HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM - I am in the process to file a class action lawsuit against the company and have started gathering evidence. Thank you.

I have brought your issue to the attention of an appropriate team within HP. They will likely request information from you in order to look up your case details or product serial number. Please look for a private message from an identified HP contact. Additionally, keep in mind not to publicly post personal information (serial numbers and case details).
If you are unfamiliar with how the Community's private message capability works, you can learn about that here.
