Hello! Bought my hp compaq laptop last year (19/10/2018) and the warranty still valid until next year.
I dont exactly remember when the hinge (one side only) broken but it became worse day by day. I find it difficult to close and open the laptop (too tight) and the screen split!
Already asked the seller but they said the warranty will not cover for the damage. And i was like — whatttt?! It wasnt even my fault that the hinge broken since there was NOT even ONCE my laptop crashed to the floor or the damage comes from another repair.
FYI, it is clearly a manufacturer damage since thousand of users are having the same problem.
I bought this laptop without any doubtful thought. i trusted this model than any other models - u name it, Acer, asus, etc. But the quality is so frustrated😞
I know that once the hinge is broken, the screen will also be affected. Not to mention the internal wires will be exposed once the screen is split open WIDELY!
I'm a student, from a poor family, used up all my savings from working part time while studying to buy this laptop (RM3000++ include additional warranty), it's impossible for me to pay for the repair fee or buy another laptop. I need this laptop so much since i'm computer science student. I've already reached out (whatsapp) hp technical support specialist, but i know this case will not be treated the way it should be if i dont take any safe step. Please help me.
Send technician or just give me a new laptop. Eventho i know the latter will be ignored by HP.
Thank you
