HOW DO I KNOW IF MY LAPTOP HAS AN M.2 SLOT FOR AN SSD IF YES WHICH SSD IS THE BEST FOR IT

Hi:
Your notebook does not have a M.2 slot to add a SATA SSD.
Only the models that came with SATA M.2 SSD's from the factory have the slot.
Your only option would be to replace the 2.5" mechanical hard drive with a 2.5" SATA SSD.
Below is the link to the service manual, where you can find the hard drive removal and replacement procedure.
