Hi,

Try going to "panello di controllo" (right-click on start and click on panello di controllo). Now go to "opzione di risparmio energia" . Now click on "Modifica impostazioni combinazione" and in the next window clcick on "cambia impostazione avanzate" Now in the tab choose "Prestazione elevate".  In the list go to wifi adapter and make sure that under battery and ac power it is set to "prestazione massime", the same thing for graphics adapter. This should resolve the problem.

I also see that there is a new BIOS available for your system. Upgrade the Bios which could also solve the problem:

Hi,

It seems to be some kinf of failure of the difference in power settings from battery to cable (or cable to battery). Naturally it should not be happening.

Yesterday I saw that there was a Bios update. Have you tried installing it?

from here:

You can also try to update the nvidia driver at the same time if you have not already done so.

From device manager (right-click on start and click on gestione dispositivi) try updating the various devices of the PC. Such as wifi, graphic, monitor.  (right-click on device and update software)

Yesterday we went in "opzione di risparmio energia". In the first windows you see three options (Bilanciato, Risparmio di energia, Prestazioni elevate), if you have not done so, try choosing Prestazioni elevate.

Let me know,

David

Hello David. How are?? I am sorry to bother you but i am having problems with the battery Of my laptop. It doesent Charge anymore when the pc is on but only when its turned off. Or better, it charges very very very slowly, 1% every 10 minutes and before 100% in 90 with the super fast charge. I have updated the bios but nothing has changed. What could i do?

Hi, no bother. OK.

First let us try to uninstall the drivers (Windows) which control the battery. So go to device manager (right-click on start and click on device manager). You will see heading Battery. Now there will be one or two drivers. Right-click on the one "battery compatible with ACPl Microsoft" and uninstall. Uninstall the other driver too. Now turn off PC and reboot the PC. See if it helps.

If it does not help, try to run battery diagnostic and calibrating tool from HP to see if the battery has any problem.
