Product: HP 450
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 8.1 (64-bit)

when i diagnos the my hard disk drive . then show that

 

Then i select extensive. 

 

SMA RT: PASSED   

 

Long DST : FAILED        

 

when i select quick

 

SMA RT: PASSED   

 

 

Short DST : FAILED

 

Now i try to install windows 8.1 pro but at the finishing ,show that "windows can not update boot's configuration , install process is not saved..........

 

how can i fix it .............help please..

DST:Fail means the hard drive has failed/is failing and will have to be replaced.
