I run Windows 10 64 bit operating system on a Dell Optiplex 745 desktop which an Hp DVD-RAM GH60L is attached as Dvd writer. The device has been working well ever since it is attached to my system, but recently I discovered that each time I decide to burn data on a dvd media, after the media has been prepared to commence data burning, an error message will be displayed that "Cannot Write Data". With the error message, it means the dvd media in use is wasted. From searches made on the internet, DRIVERS & FIRMWARE UPDATE are suggested remedies for the drive hence I am writing the community for further assistance. Please where can I update my dvd's drivers and the firmware as well.

I have brought your issue to the attention of an appropriate team within HP. They will likely request information from you in order to look up your case details or product serial number. Please look for a private message from an identified HP contact. Additionally, keep in mind not to publicly post personal information (serial numbers and case details).
If you are unfamiliar with how the Community's private message capability works, you can learn about that here.
Thank you for visiting the HP Support Community.
