Hello, everyone.

Something happened to my Notebook Envy x350's webcam.

The web can turned white and therefore the image generated by it is just a blurred white.
Does anyone know what it could have been or how to fix it?

The only fix is to replace it or the complete display assembly.

That is a bit hardcore unless you are an electronics  or serious PC enthusiast.

 

The workaround is to buy a clip-on  type webcam the fits right on the top of the screen.
Clip-on WebCam online vendor sources (pay close attention to the resolution)

If you need your notebook for school and don't have access to a temporary  use notebook, that is probably going to be the most practical thing to do.

Is your notebook still in warranty or can it be replaced by your school??
