HP ENVY x360 m Convertible
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi there!

20190804_155517.jpg20190804_155524.jpgI have an HP ENVY x360 2-in-1 laptop (model 15m-bp011dx, ProdID 1KS72UA#ABA, SN 8CG7283MPG).
I bought this laptop in 2017, but I have taken very good care of it, and it mostly stays on my desk. Lately, when I open the laptop, the left hing makes the screen pop out (see photos). I am able to snap it back in but I can only do so at a 90 degree angle, so I can't snap it back if I want to flip it to tablet mode.  I saw several other posts in the community with the same defect on my laptop. Can anyone help me get in contact with the proper HP team to fix my laptop? I love this laptop so much, and I would truly appreciate any help!

Thank you!

I have brought your issue to the attention of an appropriate team within HP. They will likely request information from you in order to look up your case details or product serial number. Please look for a private message from an identified HP contact. Additionally, keep in mind not to publicly post personal information (serial numbers and case details).

If you are unfamiliar with how the Community's private message capability works, you can learn about that here.
