HP ENVY 6-1011tu Notebook PC

I got my Envy laptop fixed twice already by getting the defective hinges replaced but they have broken for the 3rd time, causing me a lot of frustration.
It's clear that the hinge design is sub-standard and the fix is temporary.

The laptop is a 2012 purchase and gets a minimal weekend use. It was never dropped and has
no physical damage.

The first two occurances of this issue were covered under warranty but the machine is not under
warranty now and the hinge problem seems to be a never ending one.

I am definitely not willing to pay for something that occured not due to my negligence but due to HP's defective hinge design.

Apart from this issue, it's a very good machine and I did never have any issues with it.

Looking forward to a positive response and a PERMANENT fix as I have already suffered a lot due to this issue.
