I ordered a laptop during the Black Friday Deals on November 28th and was given a shipment date of the 15th and delivery date of the 18th. I have now received a delay on my order for Customs Clearance. Is anyone else experiencing this issue and what is the likelihood this will get resolved where I will get this delivered before Christmas?

Same boat for many people. I know all vendors including HP are trying to do their best to bring their products to customers. But with on-going Covid-19 pandemic, everything is unpredictable. I believe high priority now is vaccine therefore only God knows when things would be going back to normal.
Please wait, it will come.
Hope this makes sense.
Regards.

There are a couple of threads on this topic between here and Reddit. For the most part I think everyone understands that sometimes delays can't be helped. However many people, like myself, are frustrated with the complete lack of transparency on HP's part with regards to what they are actually doing to fix the issues and the fact that HP has made no indication that they intend to make this right for or compensate their customers. Yet others are beyond frustrated and outright furious. There is no concrete information, and little else beyond boilerplate language basically saying "We're doing our best, we promise. Just trust us." There are posts on these forums from parents who had purchased key Christmas presents, or students who need these products on tight timeframes in order to remain productive and successful. Regardless of who or what is at fault for the situation, HP's response has been thoroughly unacceptable and the lack of transparency borders on unethical business practice.
