The HP Pavilion 15-n259tx  does have hybrid dual graphics.

If you have the Device Manager open, the AMD Radeon 8670M graphics device will only be seen when it has been invoked from the desktop or a gaming preset. Otherwise, even with the proper driver installed it will not be visible in the device manager.

To use the Radeon graphics you must have the NVIDIA Graphics Driver - Skylake 10.18.13.5324 Rev.A installed.

If any graphics driver, including those from AMD directly, other than the HP version are installed the Radeon 8670M graphics will not work.

Using dual graphics example

How about installing the HP Support Assistant to see if it finds drivers that need to be installed.

Did you install Intel High-Definition Graphics driver from the HP Software & Driver download web document or from Intel?

Of course there does exist the possibility that the laptop, which was first brought to market in 2014, is experiencing service life issues with its discrete electronic components.

There is nothing wrong with trying to bring  all of its delivered options to life.

the intel display driver downloaded automatically and then updated through hp support assistant. But the driver for the amd gpu is not showing up in hp support assistant (nor the amd one neither the nvidia one)

There does also exist the possibility that the  hybrid driver for the AMD HD8670M is not compatible with Windows 10.

I notice that HP did not publish a driver for Windows 10, but in  the Windows 8.1 download section there are drivers for the AMD Radeon and NVIDIA Geforce GPUs.

You can try them as well to see if the result is positive.

I see many people had problems with the HD8670M GPU as is became older.
