CAN ANYONE TELL ME IF THE MODEL IS COMPATIBLE WITH WINDOWS 10? I TRIED TO GO THROUGH CUSTOMER SUPPORT AND SPENT A GOOD AMOUNT OF TIME GOING FROM PERSON TO PERSON REPEATING THE SAME QUESTION ONLY TO BE TOLD IT WOULD COST $99 OR MORE DEPENDING ON WHICH PLAN I CHOSE TO ANSWER THAT YES OR NO QUESTION.

Thank you for the update,
I appreciate your time and efforts,
here's a video with step by step guidance on the connection,
Just found this: Click here
If the issue persists after the video completes as well, perhaps you could add a picture of the larger than usual USB cable and I could help you out with that.
Feel free to post your query for any other assistance as well,
It's been a pleasure interacting with you and I hope you have a good day ahead.

Thank you for the update,
I appreciate your time and efforts,
I'd like to jump into this conversation and direct you to the last page of the manual shared by MrRobot:
Plug & Play Compatibility: Windows 8/7/XP /Vista/2000/ MacOS X
Notice that this is a plug & play and hence doesn't require any software as such.
If it isn't working after it's plugged in, perhaps you could try connecting it to an alternate device or cable to check if it works.
I've listed a few steps below:
Connect DPF to Macintosh Computer
1. Use a USB cable to connect the DPF to your Macintosh computer.
2. Macintosh will recognize the DPF as an external storage device.
3. Drag and drop files between the two devices as you normally move files.
Disconnect DPF from Macintosh Computer
1. To safely disconnect the DPF from your Macintosh, select DPF's icon on your desktop and press
eject the disk.
2. When the icon is no longer on the desktop, it is safe to unplug the USB cable.

Decipher,
thank you for the information and I feel like we are getting closer to a solution. Here is the issue I understand your instruction to plug a USB into the DSand then into the Mac. What kind of USB would that be. The USB slot on the DS is large then today's USB. It almost sounds like I would have to have two different sized USB on one cord. One that would accomadate the USB on the DS and another smaller USB to go into the Mac. Do they make such a thing? Don't give up on me🙃
