Pavilion 15
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Disable the internal keyboard temporarily with keyboard shortcut or with a small installation without disabling the external usb or wireless keyboard attached to it for some time until the user wants to turn it back to normal or if he restarts the system. Please provide a solution which does not incluse changing the drivers of the laptop. Some laptops like Asus and Lenovo provide their own hotkeys for doing this. Is there a way of doing it with my HP laptop?

This is a great location to get assistance! I read your post and see that you want to know how to disable the keyboard temporarily. I would like to assist you.

  • This HP laptop model is not designed to disable the internal keyboard.
  • However, I consider your suggestion and take it to the concern teams attention.

I hope it helps and if you feel I have answered your question and concerns,

Please mark this post as a solution accepted and Kudos would also be appreciated.

Cheers.
